Yes, plus the other living things in the environment. Are they surrounded by other living things and are they eating living things?

A community includes all the living things in a particular environment.

An Aviary is a Enclosed fixture that enables any bird to fly freely within it's confines it can be of any size and shape. It can be consructed of any material Wood or Metal framework with wire mesh of any size suitable to hold occupants with in its confines.

You can put a number of birds species as long as they are compatible breeds in it and last but not least 1pr. to every cubic ft.of space .for small Finches 3 cubic feet for Cockatiels.

Because you have babies in a nesting box its essential you have someone to look after your birds who knows about birds. As you must know nests need to be check daily or twice daily when there are babies. Water drinkers in an aviary can get fouled really quickly and cause all birds to die from ecoli bacteria or salmonella, and food needs replenishing often.
Try a friend relative or neighbour and make sure you write everything down so they can refer back to notes if in doubt over any of the care needed. Its amazing how many peole see seed husks and think birds have seed when they dont and birds die from starvation while owners are on holidays, so stress that fact with a carer for your birds.

Ive just looked at many pics make it like 14 ft tall and 14 feet wide like a cube. Make all sides 14 ft. to make it stable and strong here have a look at these pictures.
If its for big birds I would make it like 14 by 14 and if it was for parakeets and smaller birds I would make it like 10 by 10 to 8 by 8
thanks have a look at these pics

I added more here:

You can't keep those animals together. If you want finches and cutthroats, then keep those in separate aviary with the quail.

keep the chickens separate(guinea fowl are ok with them) and the rabbits completely separate.

I think this is nonsense. My bird gets food every day at a set time and he gets enough :) I don't like the bird to do 'all you can eat!'!

If I could build my dream aviary, it would have a convertible roof with a screen to let lots of fresh air into it. It would contain potted fruit trees and other vegetation for the birds to eat and live. Also, it would contain a couple of ponds and maybe a little creek and water fall. Maybe I would even have a Japanese style garden. I would make all surfaces water-proof and have a few drains in the floor so I can hose everything down to clean. For myself, I would have an office in a corner, so I can work in the peaceful environment. Of course I would have doors to close so my little friends will not try to re-organize my work area. I would also have a couple benches and patio tables with umbrellas (to avoid unwanted presents on the food) and have small parties for my closest friends and family.

I think the important thing about nesting boxes is that they are the same level, birds will always do the 'pecking order' thing and want the highest box! others will then not want the 'lower' boxes, this is what I find anyway!I have an aviary of many many years now and initially started with a small wooden greenhouse, took a side off it and attached 3 ft wire netting so they had a bit of flight space, it was plenty for them. I built a big aviary because they bred well, I have a shed for them to sleep in at night with perches up in roof and a big flight path attached for day use. I can try with pics but don't hold your breath! good luck!
